Jorge Zapico
I’m a PhD researcher at KTH (Stockholm Royal Institute of Technology)*, working in the Centre of Sustainable Communications (CESC) and under the department of Media Technology and Industrial Ecology.
My research area is the intersection of media technology (mainly internet) and sustainability (mainly climate change), focusing on a hands-on approach of using new technology to help the transition towards a low-carbon lifestyle.
In this blog I’m writing about my research, explaining the development of my work and sharing resources. But I also write more personal experiences about how I use new technology in my daily life, how I try to reduce my carbon footprint increasing my use of technology.
I’m also a freelance web designer / programmer, my company is called Verde Media.
